Hi, I'm Rachel Leigh Gibbs, M.A., a supervised Marriage and Family Therapist Intern


Rachel Leigh Gibbs, M.A. is a supervised MFT Intern IMF 74443 currently working out of the Norooz Clinic in Irvine, CA. She received her Master's Degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and is currently working towards her Doctorate. During her Master's Degree training, she worked as a MFT Trainee at Western Youth Services, run by the Department of Mental Health in Orange County, providing therapy to children and their families. Rachel's focus in her research and practice is couples and sex therapy, but also really enjoys working with individuals, families and groups as well. She has been trained to work with addiction and substance abuse and victims of domestic violence. She works from a Cognitive-Behavioral perspective, but also integrates other theories dependent upon the case, such as: Imago Therapy, Gottman's techniques, Gestalt Therapy, Existential-Humantistic Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Bowen Family Systems. Rachel has also gone through various training in working with the LGBT community and is senstitive regarding various sexual lifestyles. Rachel is also a certified facilitator of the PREPARE and ENRICH relationship inventory. Rachel is very excited to be currently working alongside Dr. Ehsan Gharadjedaghi at the Norooz Clinic. He has extensive training and is a Certified Couples and Sex Therapist through AACAST. She is currently being supervised by Dr. Shirin Khanideh, Psy.D.
